Why Bhai Joga Singh was saved and many others are not saved?

A Sikh asked the question as to why did Siri Guru Gobind Singh jee Maharaj save Bhai Joga Singh jee from committing a Bajjar Kurehit and how come so many other Amritdhari Gursikhs have not been protected by Guru Sahib from committing Bajjar Kurehits.

The above question is quite valid because Guru Sahib does not have bias and sees everyone with the same eye of grace. Then why does it seem as if some have more Kirpa and some have less?

The answer to this question is that until a Gursikh does intense Bhagti which includes Amritvela Naam Abhyaas, a lot of Gurbani Paath, attendance in Kirtan Samagams, strictly keep Siri Dasmesh Pita jee's Rehit and obey the moral code prescribed in Gurbani, and becomes Manzoor-e-Nazar of Guru Sahib, one does not get the kind of protection that Bhai Joga Singh jee had.

There comes a state before Jyot-Prakash whereby a Gursikh becomes Manzoor-e-Nazar of Guru Sahib and gets divine protection in form of Shaheedi-Pehra or otherwise divine protection of Guru Sahib. In this state, Guru Sahib saves His Gursikh from worldly dangers and sins. For the most part, a Gursikh at this state does not have a sinful mindset and does not get tempted to do sin but if for whatever reason (e.g. prior Karma) a Gursikh does move to commit a Bajjar Kurehit, he or she gets protected as Bhai Joga Singh jee was protected by none other than Guru Sahib Himself. Until we reach this state, we are not saved from committing Bajjar Kurehit, as Bhai Joga Singh was protected in Pratakh roop.

As soon as we get Amrit and become Guru Sahib's Gursikhs, we should work intensely to have Darshan and become Manzoor-e-Nazar of Guru Sahib. May Guru Sahib save us from committing sins and enable us to earn the true Laha of Gurmat Naam in this life. If we keep our feet in two boats and try to get across this ocean, we will surely drown. We must firmly move to the Ship of Gurmat and swim across this ocean.
