ਬਿਆਧਿ refers to diseases of the body.
ਉਪਾਧਿ refers to external threats or problems e.g. robbers, accidents etc.
As for protection against these three problems, there is only one way - to follow Gurmat. Following Gurmat involves obeying Hukams of Guru Sahib including the main Hukam of chanting the True Naam.
